I have  been a hairdresser for 38 years and a Salon owner “off and on” for about 30 years… from NYC’s Madison Avenue & Fashionable East Village to Salons in the Red Bank area and Manalapan.

With a strong Sassoon background, I’ve done hair for runway shows, fashion magazines, and for movies including Oscar winning director Kathryn Bigelow. I have been an educator and trainer as well as Salon owner and mentor to many young hairdressers starting in the business.
For years I was known as the “short hair specialist” but love to do long layered cuts and shag haircuts. My strongest point is foil highlighting with one of two methods I developed, Tri Color Highlighting using 3 different tones of blends that I apply seasonally for maximum natural effect. Tortoise Shell High and Low Lights that blend a mélange of colors both tri-color highlights and bi-color lowlights that give a stunning effect. “You can’t see the light without the dark.”
